Blender is an incredibly versatile tool for 3D designers. Its open-source license makes Blender accessible to a wide range of designers, including students and hobbyists.
However, even though Blender is free to use, the tool is extremely powerful–and complex! Blender is so capable that it is often used in professional workflows, especially in automotive rendering, 3D animation, and real-time rendering.
Setting up a 3D environment properly in Blender can be challenging, particularly for newer designers. Finding high-quality visuals and Image-Based Lighting (IBL) data can also be difficult, especially for 3D artists operating on a tight budget.
That’s why we’re thrilled to release a series of free 3D Scenes for Blender. You can download our free Blender scenes here.

Free Scenes, Powerful Tools

Like Blender itself, these scenes are free , but make no mistake–they’re just as comprehensive and valuable as 3D scenes that cost hundreds or thousands of dollars!
Each of our 3D scenes includes high-resolution, 360° visuals shot in real-world locations. From beautifully lit interior courtyards to massive airplane hangars—and everything in between—our scenes offer a diverse range of environments.
In addition to high-quality visuals, our professional free 3D Blender Environments include embedded Image-Based Lighting data captured using our industry-leading RAY HDR technology.
This color-calibrated lighting data allows you to load one of our Blender 3D scenes into the tool, and within a few clicks achieve accurate, realistic lighting for your digital twins.
Because we know designers use Blender for a variety of applications—ranging from creating high-resolution stills for advertising to real-time rendering for VR—we’ve included both traditional HDRi Maps and tone-mapped versions within our Blender 3D scenes, so you can choose the best lighting techniques for your specific use case.
Finally, our free Blender 3D scenes include 3D floors and ground planes. We’ve even included additional 3D elements to create realistic parallax effects in certain scenes.
All of this means that you can download one of our free environments, load it into Blender, tweak the lighting and basic setup as needed, add your digital twin or 3D model, and be ready to render professional-quality visuals in minutes—not hours.

How to Use Our Scenes
